I remember the day I bought GuaranteedWealth.com. It was early in the evening on September 11, 1999. Honestly, I wasn't really sure what I was doing. I didn't know what "hosting" was. I didn't know what I could even do with a ".com" or how I could use it at all. I had enough foresight to know that this thing called the "internet" was going to be big. Initially, I was so confused I didn't know that the "internet" was the same thing as the "world wide web". I just knew that I could see the potential and I wanted to get in on it early. I could see the financial possibilities the internet had to offer and I knew that I wanted to get in on this new money making opportunity while it was still in its infancy.
The internet was very new back then. It's hard to believe it was almost two decades ago when I got my first introduction. It was a very new adventure to me just as it is still a new adventure for some people even today. I learned how to navigate around on Apple's own version of AOL which was short lived and closed down shortly after I was introduced to it. Yet I was thrilled to buy my first Macintosh computer. It was a Macintosh Quadra. It had a whopping 25Mhz power pc processor.
I learned the fundamentals of this new thing called HTML. I learned how to upload and download. Most people looked at me as if I were a genius or something but I knew that I wasn't doing anything that anyone else couldn't do with a little bit of enthusiasm and a little bit of reading.
Using GuaranteedWealth.com I created my first website. I still have a copy of it archived somewhere. Why? I'm not quite sure. I'd like to think it's so I can look back on it some day and realize how far I've come since then. I still remember the site though. It had a large HTML table. Each block in the table contained a graphic of some sort designed to get your attention. One corner contained a graphic alarm clock jumping up and down and ringing, several blocks contained large flashing text, other blocks contained flashing banners to grab your attention, and some blocks contained links to free reports and newsletters. It was, to say the least, a mishmash created by a guy who knew just enough to be dangerous to the human eye.
Strangely enough, it worked in some respects I just never kept up with it. I published the Guaranteed Wealth Newsletter once every two weeks with three helpful articles. I had about 835 subscribers when I discontinued writing it due to various circumstances in my life. Who knows what the subscribership would be up to if I had continued writing today.
Thankfully I've come a long way since 1999, sadly GuaranteedWealth.com hasn't. I am more than a bit disappointed that I let such tremendous opportunity slip through my fingers for the last decade.
So where does that leave me today? It leaves me just where you might be. It leaves me with potential that still remains untapped! I choose, as I hope many of you do, to look at the glass half full instead of half empty! Neither yesterday, nor the last 10 years equal today. Today is a new lease on life. It is a new day with new potential and new possibilities waiting to be discovered and unleashed to create a better tomorrow.
This brings me to this article. After 13 years in my paralegal legal career and 9 years in my practice as a Rhode Island Divorce Lawyer I find myself open to new possibilities to helping others. Though GuaranteedWealth.com was originally a domain I purchased in order to make money for myself, I find it to be today's tool to help others. Isn't it funny how we sometimes find ourselves returning to my beginnings, yet filled with new growth and experience.
My life has been and always will be a journey to finding ways to help others, emotionally, financially, physically, psychologically and intellectually. From a young age as a member of our youth ministry I participated in virtually every program designed to help young people avoid drugs, gangs, violence, and crime. In my later years I spent several years in Wadhams Hall Seminary dedicated to learning how to be of service through training for the Roman Catholic priesthood. These years introduced me to helping the elderly, the disabled, the Big Brother Program, Easter Seals, and Cancer patients and much more.
So let's fast forward. I tried being a live-in counselor for young boys the system had given up on. However, one night with a butcher knife at my throat followed by a second night being strangled with a telephone cord demonstrated to me that it just wasn't the "helping others" role I was meant to play in life.
Over the past 23 years I've tried to help people legally both as a paralegal and as a divorce lawyer. Unfortunately, helping others in the legal system works only as well as the system itself. After reaching the realization that many of my efforts were wasted in a system that only works one tenth as well as it should I've chosen to re-route my life's course and set a new sail.
So here I am again today. . . looking at Guaranteedwealth.com with a renewed vigor and excitement. Today I can see GuaranteedWealth.com as a medium and forum to help enrich the lives of others. Through sharing what I have learned from personal experiences, books, mistakes, and triumphs, others can take from this site what they find beneficial, helpful and nuturing in their own life and to their own spirit.
With that said, I welcome you to a new GuaranteedWealth.com, a place where sharing leads to personal growth and development in all aspects of your life to achieve your own peak performance.
Remember SBA! See it! Believe it! Achieve it!
