Many people are looking to build their financial portfolio or change their entire lifestyle. This can be anything from a person's physical health to their educational aspirations. This can easily end up creating a circular pattern trying to find or develop a specific plan for success.
So what do you do to find or create this plan for success?
Do you write in a journal and analyze your own writings?
Do you read your horoscope or try to analyze your dreams to find your strengths?
Do you spend years reading books by authors touting their success in teaching others on how to succeed in the particular area of life you are trying to master?
There is no one quintessential answer to these questions and I for one will not be so bold as to say that one or any one of these methods is foolhardy, ridiculous or wrong.
The fact is that many of people are searching, hoping and dreaming for success in one or more areas of life.
So where do you begin?
I've thought about this for much of my life.
I've looked back at my life's own journals and spent time contemplating my life.
I've looked back at my successes and instances that previously I would have thought of as failures.
I've read hundreds of books, been to countless success seminars and watched and heard numerous DVD and CD presentations spanning thousands of hours dedicated to physical, financial, emotional, educational and mental success and mastery.
Does this make me an expert? Hardly . . . and I certainly won't proclaim myself to be an expert at anything though others have done so in some respects.
In all my readings of the "experts" I have listened to, read, and watched, I haven't agreed with everything I've seen or heard. In fact, in many cases I have disagreed with what they have said not simply because I have been skeptical but for reasons that are logical, practical and have been well thought out.
Yet I have learned one principle I do agree with. I agree with this principle because it has been repeated by every "expert" and in every "success story" I have read about and listened to and it has proven true for even the smallest of successes, including me:
If you want to achieve a certain result, find a person who has achieved that result and model that person.
The answers are out there that will help you achieve what you want to achieve in your life. They are not always easy to find but they are out there. I've managed to find many of these answers and applied them in my life to achieve successes I never thought possible.
In the past few weeks contemplation, encouragement from friends, and belief in me by family has engendered in me a greater appreciation for what I have learned and should share with others. This has lead me to a deeper resolve to achieve a greater level of living and a higher level of success in my own life, and to share what I have learned to help those around me.
Tomorrow begins a new day not just for me but for those whose lives I may change.
See it!
Believe it!
Achieve it!
Create Your Own Destiny!
